ALS/MND Iced Water Challenge

Whilst I was minding my own business and enjoying the beautiful island of Tioman, Malaysia, my friends back home decided I needed to be included in the Iced Water Challenge.  I was happy to join in and support the association working to fund research and support people with Motor Neurone Disease.

Being on an island where clean water has to be imported in bottles, and after conversation with the manager, Patrick, of the tiny resort where I am staying, I realised that the water would need to be reused/recycled afterwards. So we settled on the pool and waterfall as a location but, true to the spirit of it, Patrick donated ice so that the water was as chilled as we could manage in the heat!

Thanks to Germaine for nominating me and, in turn, I've nominated 3 friends who I hope will also complete the challenge and donate much needed funds to MND.  Donate either by texting ICED55 (plus the amount of your choice, e.g. £10) to 70070 or via any of the links on the MND website.

Thank you to my water nymph helpers Kate & Hannah, and to Sue for videoing the event.
